Cape Town band Tribal Echo have burst onto the scene, delivering a potent mix of folk rock, rap and Cape and South African inspired sound. The band has been around for years, since 2001, perfecting their groove. The five-part band is composed of lead singer and guitarist Frazer Barry, singer and rapper Sandy Gertse, drummer Deniel Barry, saxophonist Neil Visser, violinist Estee Visser and bassist Earl Witbooi. The band rocked the 2014 Oesfees stage, and blew rocker Theuns Jordaan away, with him tipping them to be the next big thing.
