Five thousand Cape music enthusiasts joined top local artists including David Kramer, Chris Chameleon, Emo Adams, Theuns Jordaan and a host of home-grown musical talent at this year's fifth annual Franschhoek Oesfees, which took place in association with the ATKV (Afrikaanse Taal en Kultuurvereniging), at the Solms-Delta wine estate on Saturday 24 March.
The sold-out event was an end-of-harvest celebration of Kaapsekos, wine, music and song, which paid tribute to all who toil year round in the vineyards and cellars. Close to 1 000 complimentary tickets were given to workers on the Franschhoek valley farms.
